Alternatively about 1.5 miles away is the 300 acre Beacon Country Park, described on westlancs.gov.uk as ' our flagship countryside site ' which brags of picnic areas, children's play areas, nature trails, orienteering courses and much much more. On a different note Winstanley College is just 1.5 miles away. This is rated by the Sunday Times as 'North West's Best Sixth Form College'.
Commuters are also well serviced with junction 6 of the M58 to Liverpool and junction 26 of the M6 both located on the edge of Orrell.
In the final analysis we feel that this property at this asking price in an up and coming area, represents excellent value with lots of potential. There is a currently a shortage of quality two bedroom properties on the market so we do not envisage that this lovely home will be available for long.
