There are many apartment blocks in the uk that have a similar external style to this one but there are few that have such a stunning ever changing view. Another apartment owner has kindly given us a number of photographs which mark the way the view changes throughout the seasons. The apartment looks across a patchwork of six fields to Upholland, Roby Mill and beyond. There is a public footpath from the side of Meadow View that winds between the fields to take you to Dean Wood or Abbey Lakes, both of which have more countryside walks to enjoy.
Inside the apartment the architect has cleverly placed the two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom around an L shaped hall. The current owners have just replaced the carpets throughout and they have also refreshed the paintwork.

Alternatively about 1.5 miles away is the 300 acre Beacon Country Park, described on westlancs.gov.uk as ' our flagship countryside site ' which brags of picnic areas, children's play areas, nature trails, orienteering courses and much much more. You can actually see the perimeter of this park from the apartment. On a different note Winstanley College is just 1.5 miles away with St John Rigby College is about 1/2 a mile away. . This is rated by the Sunday Times as 'North West's Best Sixth Form College'.
Commuters are also well serviced with junction 6 of the M58 to Liverpool and junction 26 of the M6 both located on the edge of Orrell. It is also a short run to the A580 East Lancs Road or junction 27 of the M6.
In the final analysis we feel that this property at this asking price in an up and coming area, represents excellent value with lots of potential. There is a currently a shortage of quality two bedroom properties on the market so we do not envisage that this lovely home will be available for long.
