Da Piero – 'An authentic quality Italian restaurant in Irby – SERVING EXCITING FLAVOURSOME ITALIAN FOOD”
When we opened in 2005 we had no idea how successful our restaurant would become. As an independent, family run restaurant we are proud to have continued to serve high quality food to our guests from far and wide.
Many of our guests have become personal friends and, one family in particular, doesn't think twice about travelling from Warrington, just for a meal at Da Piero!
We have provided employment to many youngsters as they approach their first work experience and we have been touched by their many kind messages and gifts as they move on the further their studies.
As we look forward to our, well deserved, retirement and Alan spreads his wings, we sincerely hope that a new restaurateur can “keep Irby on the map!”
Open House West Wirral are delighted to welcome to the market Da Piero, an extremely well-established and highly rated authentic Italian restaurant situated in the heart of Irby Village.
The business was established over 14 years ago by our clients. Though Dawn and Piero have thoroughly enjoyed running the business, they are now looking to free up their time and pass the mantle onto a new generation of restauranteur.
The potential for this business is enormous for anyone with the drive, passion and commitment to producing high quality food. The opening hours could be extended and the range of dishes could be subtly evolved to cater for different palates, such as introducing pizzas and a breakfast menu.
The restaurant has a modern décor with circa 30 covers available for seating. Piero is especially proud of his solid beech tables. The business currently operates 5 evenings per week.
Since opening in 2005, Da Piero has steadily built a reputation within the local and wider area, with patrons travelling great distances (occasionally overseas) to sample the exquisite cuisine on offer. This has resulted in a very loyal client base and a tremendous word of mouth reputation. Many of Dawn and Piero's clients have become friends.
The restaurant has 4.5 star rating on Tripadvisor with customer comments including:
“First time here based off a personal recommendation and general word of mouth. Visited with a friend on 19th October. Could not have had a better experience – the food was just amazing. One of the best restaurants on the Wirral. Highly recommended!”
“Amazing food, the best sea bass I have ever had. Thanks for a great dining experience, highly recommended.”
This is an excellent opportunity for a new owner to take this already thriving business with growth potential to the next level; therefore, early viewing must come highly recommended.
Piero and his son Alan are prepared to offer training in the preparation of all dishes which are documented in a family recipe book handed down through the generations. These recipes have been refined over time to take account of locally available produce, ensuring all of the dishes can be prepared with the freshest of ingredients.
Viewings are by appointment only and are to be arranged via Open House.
The restaurant is located at the junction of Mill Hill Road and Thingwall Road, right at the heart of Irby Village. There are a number of thriving shops, pubs and other eating establishments making this a pleasant destination for an evening out.
