Central Bristol is renowned for its Broadmead shopping area and now its newly developed ‘Cabot Circus’ has propelled Bristol into the top ten list of UK shopping destinations with a massive selection of high street names, boutiques, restaurants and cafes. A short stroll takes you to the relics and old buildings of the Old City where you will find St Nicholas Market and the Christmas Steps. The Harbourside, once a working harbour, now features the Millenium Square, Brunel’s SS Great Britain, the Watershed Media Centre, the Arnolfini and much more besides, as well as popular waterside restaurants and bars. Clifton and the West End is where you will find the trendy shopping and nightlife with Whiteladies Road being popular with daytime shoppers and night-time revellers. And a stroll across Brunel’s Clifton Suspension Bridge is a must for a breathtaking view of the City.

Portishead in the meantime is quickly becoming one of the largest towns in North Somerset. It has everything from its traditional Victorian High Street and picturesque Lake Grounds to the newly developed 150 berth Marina and ‘Fishermans Village’ with its lively restaurants and bars. This rapidly expanding town dates back to the Roman times - its name deriving from the ‘port at the head of the river’ and the High Street once ran down to the water’s edge. Being located just off the M5 motorway, we’re ideally situated for easy access to Bristol and the motorway network. And with the spectacular Severn Estuary to one side and the scenic Gordano Valley to the other, there really is something for everyone.
